Freshman Year At Webster Taught Me...

~ That if you DO have time to study, you should take the time to do so.
~ You should not tell your parents ANYTHING that you have to think about twice
~ Living on Campus is Greeaaattt!!!
~ Sex is good
~ Coming in @ 7am isn't always the smartest idea, just because you have the freedom
~ The BP-motha-freakin'-C is STUPID
~ Living with complete strangers can, and always will, be very interesting
~ No matter where you relocate to, you will always make new friends
~ College isn't THAT hard, especially if you try
~ If you don't live on campus, you won't have the same experience as those who do have
~ College is definitely an adventure and a place for whole, new experiences! Take ALL of it in... just not @ one time.

Things Freshman Year At Webster Taught Me

- Your floor is your most valuable possession.
- If you're a tour room, you better not sleep naked.
- Living with someone you didn't know all that well ain't so bad.
- After a while, even Blimpie's gets old.
- A lot of drama can be packed into a very small space.
- Having a car is very very nice.
- If you don't have a car, everything can be within walking distance. If you have the time.
- Black is a state of mind. (Thank you, BPC)
- GTV is one part programming, two parts total blank screen.
- If you work at 6 am, don't try to stay awake all night. It will only end badly.
- The 24-hour McDonald's is a 24-hour DRIVE-through.
- Substituting "bips" for "bitch" is funny.
- Campus Rec is your friend. You will like Campus Rec. PARTICIPATE IN CAMPUS REC ACTIVITIES!
- If there is someone on your floor nicknamed "Cutter," well, uh....yeah I got nothing.
- "Don't be hatin'" should NOT be said by foreign people.
- There are at least 38478356 ways to get to Ronnie's 20.
- Ronnie's does NOT show movies after 1 am.
- Devon Schwab is everywhere.

so yeah...

Yeah, went downtown to put in some applications and i guess i have a job now... thing is, i don't know if i really want it. it's a little hectic there. i mean, it wouldn't be bad if i knew that i would get some fat tips and stuff, but i'm not sure about this job. Shyt. I mean, i still have my other two jobs, but i really need something else so i don't have to have so many jobs..god, i need money bad.

Back in '04, this hall wasn't a bore.
People were out and about on the floor.
But now in '05, it's like we're barely alive,
What happened to the fun that used to make 2L thrive?!

There's no one around now, there are doors always closed,
And campus events?? Ha! Just forget about those!
To see these things happen is, well, frankly a shame
When at the start of the year we were at the top of our game.

Could we blame it on KT, our very own RA?
She's just not around now, but I guess that's OK.
It's not her fault that 2L's gone to shit.
There's something called apathy, and I blame this on it.

Come on, you guys! Remember the days
When we all ate together, and fun in fun ways?
I once used to think that 2L was the top
Until coolness level took a serious drop.
